Modern Basement Studio: Fast WiFi & Perfect for Long Stays

HORRIBLE! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! The experience Positive: Location Negative: Communicated with the property management about keeping it cool inside since the room didn’t have a thermostat. The vents in the 9’ ceiling were closed, with no way to open them. The sun hits this room all day, it was hot inside. Communicated with the rental company, nothing was done until the next day. A maintenance man came the next day and opened the vents. The control upstairs was set at 68, which was 68 upstairs and quit working for the downstairs. The maintenance man saw what was happening, there was nothing he could go. The room was not going to be able to be cooled off. Having a cool room was crucial to my stay. I have a record of the communication, I was told not to worry. When you walked into the studio through the sliding glass door that does NOT have black out curtains, the carpet was dirty. The couch was ridiculously small and extremely uncomfortable. I left after 2 nights. I was unable to get any kind of refund. Oh, the people upstairs were extremely loud WAY after midnight. HORRIBLE SERVICE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! HORRIBLE!!! NEVER AGAIN!! I paid for 8 nights, had to go somewhere else.

It was a cool place for two people. The neighborhood was nice. The ad was not clear on parking, you had to park at the end of the last home, next to abandoned vehicles, at a dead end. The thermostat is located in a different unit, so it was freezing cold, especially when taking a bath. upon check- in there was a bombardment of rules and restrictions contract that you had to sign. It was walking on egg shells the whole time, felt uncomfortable, other than that the place is clean, and cute.

Very clean and comfortable studio! Positive: Nice location, quiet, very clean, well stocked, big enough for solo traveler or a couple. Negative: Parking was difficult to find. I had to park 2 blocks away because the designated parking was always full. The walkway between the houses was rocky and uneven. Beware if you have mobility issues. Also the neighbors allowed their dogs to poop here without cleaning it up. The approach to the sliding glass door is awkward. I was trying to lock the door from the outside took a step backward not realizing it was a step, lost my balance, fell and rolled down the rocky hillside to the street. Luckily, nothing broken on this 70 year old but bruised and sore.

Once again the accommodations we’re comfortable clean n close to our family!

Again, we appreciated the cleanliness & comfort of the room. However, since we're Seniors with some challenges, it is difficult to navigate either via of the side of the house, or down the dangerously slipper/slope of rocks in the back. My Husband has a portable concentrator for his breathing & it was quite a challenge to get to & from the room when we left.
