Disappointing Positive: Immaculately clean. Updated decor with matching amenities, such as lotion, body wash, and shampoo with added bonus of two chocolate bars. Exterior of front of the house, including fence surrounding front yard, is updated. Price point appropriate for size of space. Large TV screen whose position can be adjusted for viewing throughout the room. Customer service was responsive prior to check-in, texting to inform me instructions for entry into the accommodation had been sent with a phone call the following day to ensure I had received the instructions. There was no place to hang my jacket. The wifi required reconnection on two occasions, especially for the television. The pillows on the bed were thin and lacked support. The mattress was uncomfortable with the portion near the center of the room being worn. One would sink into a lumpy hole in the mattress when sleeping in the portion nearest the center of the room prompting me to try the portion of the mattress nearest the wall. The portion of the mattress nearest the wall provided firm support. The shower stall was difficult to assemble, having two doors that swing open and required care to bring together. The accommodation was uncomfortably cold during my multi-day stay, and there was not a thermostat available in order to adjust the temperature of the room. I contacted customer service through booking.com per their request about the chilly temperature of the accommodation and the front door lock not working, asking them to send somebody out the next day so these repairs could be made. I heard back from customer service the morning of my departure, and no repairs were attempted by the property management service during my stay. I am staying at a hotel for the remainder of my stay in Salt Lake City, in a suite on a week-end, for the same price as this accommodation. I will not have to clean my dishes at the hotel. I would not recommend this accommodation. Negative: Front door lock did not work during the entire stay. Upon arrival, I had to call customer service for assistance to enter the accommodation. It was soon realized that I had been sent instructions for a property other than the one I was staying. The second email did not present with instructions that matched the coding system on the door, informing me to strike the # pound when there was not one on the front door. I had arrived on an evening flight, and there was no light over the front door as I was attempting to negotiate entry into the accommodation after sundown. Once inside the accommodation, I was unable to lock the front door for the next two days when leaving for the day using the front door coding system which left my personal belongings unsecured. I could manually lock the door once inside the accommodation for the night. I contacted customer service via booking.com per their request but did not hear back until the morning of my departure. Needless to say, I did not feel safe at this accommodation as a solo female traveler. The steep descent into the accommodation reminds you of entering a dungeon. Anyone taller than 5'2" would surely hit their head upon entry, but I was short enough to avoid injury. Parking on the street was available, but there failed to be a spot open in front of the house during my stay. I eventually parked in the back to assist with moving my 40 lb luggage during check-out. When entering the property from the front of the house, the side gate is in need of repair. The side gate has wooden planks that are coming apart, and the side gate hangs at an angle making me wonder if it would function. The side gate does not lock as it appears that lock has broken. The tenants above the accommodation are noisy as I listened to their television programming and their dog barking. The heating/ air conditioning unit for the upstairs accommodation is also in the basement and does not have a door to buffer the noise.

The property was clean, but the location left a lot to be desired. Positive: Very clean, well lit, washer/dryer, TV - all very wonderful. Inside, it was really nice and comfortable (except the bed). The property manager was very considerate and helpful. The property is well maintained and decent for one person. Negative: the bed. VERY uncomfortable. It seemed to have a bow-like shape so my hips were elevated relative to my feet and head. On my back, no problem. On my side (which is how I usually sleep) my feet were off the bed in the air. Although inside was nice, the location was not great. This was a depressed neighborhood and there were very few restaurants or stores around. I did not feel entirely comfortable walking around. The bathroom is very small and awkward to navigate in. This basement converted apartment has very low ceilings and it would be uncomfortable for someone over about 6-1 or 6-2 or someone on the larger size, particularly in the shower or getting to/from the toilet.

Positive: Sauber – leider im Untergeschoss gelegen. Angenehm war der kleine Grünstreifen im Hinterhof. Das hat die Keller Laage deutlich aufgewertet. Die Lage zur Stadt ist sehr gut und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat gut gestimmt.

Not a place for those with claustrophobia but perfect for those who just need something small. Positive: Bed was super comfy. Perfect size for just me. Despite some minor inconveniences, it's not bad. Very clean. Large kitchen sink with air fryer and coffee maker. Nice tall dining table with stools. Soaps and shampoo smelled good and of quality. Negative: Processing payment was a struggle. Shower was small. With both walls opening up, I had to be careful to watch my back side. Tall people beware. No place to hang clothes other than bathroom door. Gate to backyard seemed sketchy like it was going to fall down but does lock.

Great place to unwind and relax during a visit to SLC! Positive: It was the coziest little place to stay. I felt comfortable and safe my entire time there. The hosts provided excellent instructions and responded promptly to any questions or concerns.
